Welcome to the 2005 Community Art Project. Building on the great success of last year’s Self Portrait Project, the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission is pleased to announce the theme for the 2005 Community Art Project - dream.

This exhibition, which will be on view in public places throughout Chapel Hill and Carrboro from April 7 to May 27, will be a peek into the dreams of our community. Take this opportunity to let us know what’s on your mind.

We invite you to explore, remember, imagine, express and dream.

To be a part of this community-wide exhibition, create an artwork that expresses your dream - Any definition of "dream" is acceptable.

We are offering public workshops for anyone interested in working with an artist/facilitator. Click 'Workshop Info' for details.

NOTE TO ART EDUCATORS: We invite and encourage you to incorporate dream into your own workshops and lesson plans. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
